Awards for All and its joint partners - Big Lottery Fund, Arts Council England, Heritage Lottery Fund and Sport England would like to support historical, cultural, sporting and community projects in this Bicentenary year.
Arts Council England
Arts Council England is the national development agency for the arts in England, distributing public money from Government and the National Lottery.
Heritage Lottery Fund
The body which distributes a share of the income from the National Lottery to projects aimed at preserving and makin accessible the nation's heritage.
Connecting Communities Plus
The Connecting Communities Plus grants programme (running from April 2006 to March 2009), provides funding for activities which encourage race equality and community cohesion.

For those of you who don't know, on the 25 March 1807 the Slave Trade Bill was passed by royal decree. It prohibited British vessels engaging in the slave trade by law? People keep asking me 'What are you doing for 2007'? A fair question.
